Conventional anti-slip treatments often rely on hydrofluoric acid to etch the floor. This aggressive process permanently degrades grout lines and allows corrosive chemicals to seep beneath the tiles, compromising the structural integrity of your flooring while releasing hazardous fumes into your environment.
Similarly, many polyurethane coatings "suffocate" the surface by inhibiting the floor's natural breathability. This traps moisture within the substrate, leading to efflorescence, mold growth, and a weakened adhesive bond—often resulting in hollow-sounding tiles or costly delamination.
