Was There a Contamination Event?
DustLog™ continuously records the deposited dust where it is installed. Because each sampler is registered at installation, you can show exactly where it was and since when.
What Does the Exposure Mean?
Scan the QR code to register the sampler for lab analysis, then send the sampler for Swiss laboratory measurement of ionic contamination to ISO 8502-9. Results are compared against published limit values for clean-or-replace decisions, and the report also shows the result as a percentage of ISO 14644-1 Class 8, the cleanliness level recommended for data centers.
What the Lab Result Means.
Surface contamination testing as per ISO 8502-6 / ISO 8502-9 gives results for ionic surface contamination (including chlorides, sulfates and nitrates) in µg/cm². DustLog™ is designed to monitor the cleanliness of surfaces in technical environments where there is a high risk of equipment damage caused by ionic contamination. Ionic contamination is particularly corrosive in environments with elevated relative humidity.

Particle Cleanliness · Reported as a Percentage
In addition to the ionic load, every DustLog™ lab report expresses the result as a percentage of ISO 14644-1 Class 8, the cleanliness level recommended for data centers by ASHRAE TC 9.9.
A result of 100% or less shows that, over the test period, the dust recorded at that location stayed consistent with the Class 8 recommendation. A result above 100% shows that it did not.
