The RackSens™ scanner performs wide-spectrum, high-density environmental scanning of your racks, from intake to exhaust. Our partner companies worldwide carry out the scan, the encrypted data is analysed in our laboratory in Switzerland, and you receive a certified AirCertify™ report showing hidden thermal hotspots, humidity-driven corrosion risks and off-gassing hardware before they cause failures.
The Data Hall Blind Spot
Wall sensors and sparse rack probes leave gaps between server cabinets. RackSens™ closes them with high-density scanning of every rack in the row.
What We Measure

01 · Temperature
Ambient and surface temperature at every rack inlet along the row. Uncovers microclimate hotspots that room sensors miss, proves compliance with the ASHRAE 18–27 °C envelope, and gives you the data to raise cooling setpoints safely and cut energy costs.
02 · Humidity
Ambient and surface relative humidity across every cabinet. Flags local spikes against the ASHRAE ≤60% RH limit and the 57% threshold where chloride dust absorbs moisture, turns conductive and drives rapid copper and silver corrosion.
03 · Exhaust Gases
An electronic-nose gas sensor combined with exhaust temperature sensing. Picks up trace off-gassing from overheating board laminates, wire insulation or failing capacitors long before smoke alarms trigger or hardware drops off the network.
How Certification Works
Just like CleanCertify™ for surface cleanliness, we work with partner companies worldwide who scan your racks with RackSens™. The results are certified by our laboratory as AirCertify™ reports. Facility service providers can join the program at aircertify.com.
A partner sweeps the RackSens™ scanner along your rack rows at inlet and exhaust height — no cabling, no rack access, no risk to live equipment.
The scan data is encrypted and transferred to our laboratory in Switzerland, where it is analysed rack by rack.
You receive a certified AirCertify™ report with a rack-by-rack profile, benchmarked against ASHRAE, ISO 14644-1 and ANSI/ISA-71.04.
