Air Contamination Control Card for Data Centers

Provides immediate visual validation if data center air quality meets ASHRAE TC 9.2 requirements as mandated by equipment manufacturers and insurers. Samplers are equiped with a tacky particle collector and a metal corrosion coupon.

Easy to use!

Simply stick to a wall or rack. If there is no visible discoloration on the coupons, this signifies that the air meets the stringent standards established by ASHRAE TC 9.2 for mission-critical facilities, technology spaces, and electronic equipment.

In case of any discoloration of the sampler coupons send the sampler for laboratory processing with the international post paid mailer included in the kit. The laboratory report shows if the following requirements for data centers is consistently being maintained:

  • Air Particles: ISO 14644-1 Class 8

  • Metal Corrosion: ANSI/ISA-71.04 G1

  • Chloride Contamination: < 5 µg/cm2

Samplers can be printed with your company information. Please contact us for a quote.

Corrosion is responsible for almost half of all electronic equipment failures. Corrosion monitoring is therefore an important tool for avoiding costly downtime and cancellation of insurance and equipment warranties. CorroWatch™ shows if the following requirements are consistently being maintained:

Copper Reactivity: < 299 Angstroms/30 Days (ANSI/ISA-71.04 Level G1)

Water Soluble Salts (including chlorides, sulfates and nitrates): <10 ug/cm2

Airborne Particles: Standard ISO 14644-1 Class 8

To learn more about the environmental requirements for equipment see ASHRAE Gaseous and Particulate Contamination Guidelines For Data Centers.

Sites where high accuracy corrosion monitoring is strongly recommended:

  • Data Centers
  • Control Rooms
  • Clean Rooms
  • Mission Critical Facilities
  • Aerospace (e.g. airplane cockpits)
  • Historic Houses
  • Critical Parts Storage
  • Recirculation Air Handlers
  • Art & Museum Display Cases
  • Laboratories
  • Semiconducter & Electronics Manufacturing
  • Tape and Media Archives

In case of any coupon discoloration of the sampler coupons we recommend that you send the sampler for laboratory processing using the enclosed return mailer. When we receive the sampler we will send you a quote.
